Facebook and other social media always take away from my blogs... little updates, posting photos. Sometimes I like the feeling of a new blog, but then down the road I feel egotistical or conceited, believing people really want to read every simple detail of my life. Even if it's abroad, I mean... a short FB status keeps close ones satisfied, right?

For those who really care, you'll be sure to ask me tons of questions when I get back, so I'll be happy to blabber on about my great time here.
All I can say is, once the snow clears up, Finland is a really neat place. Once you get to know people, they're quite awesome; we share similar values and attitudes toward society, anyway. The school system is the kind I'd probably flourish in... but America's version has me conditioned to high stress and all that. It could learn a thing or two. (However, America's latest pastime seems to be taking two steps back every week or so.)
Little less than 3 weeks from now until we come home! Wow. Tempis fugit, as always. Tempis fugit.
